Could someone clone my mobile SIM/number/account?

Sometimes I could swear my balance is going down faster than it should! Could someone hypothetically clone my SIM/number/account and use my credit?

Theoretically? Yes. Practically? Unlikely - unless you have some very important job... Or: are you Jennifer Lawrence?

More likely, a cr*ppy app is 'phoning home', or you have some background updates running that you are not aware off.
What phone do you use?
Your network can tell you what's happening. But only within reason. If you note down a specific period of time where you notice odd behaviour, they will probably tell you what was accessed at that time. DO NOT ring them with a general query. They won't give you a complete lifetime breakdown.

Network billing can also be incorrect. Do you have itemized bill? Which network?
