I’m starting to think there’s some sort of conspiracy with new stuff. Where’s the Nokia EOS? And the Motorola X-Phone? And the Google Nexus 7 refresh? And the 32GB Google Nexus 4? And Android 4.3?
Well, we have the answer to at least one of those. Android 4.3 is tipped to accompany a white Nexus 4 to Google Play on June 10.
That’s the story according to Android and Me, who’ve “obtained” a white Nexus 4 at Google I/O.
Actually, the white Google Nexus 4 raises more questions than it answers. I mean, if it’s coming to Google Play in a few weeks, why wasn’t it officially shown off at I/O? Same with Android 4.3.
And what storage options will it offer? Are the white Google Nexus 4 and the 32GB LTE-friendly Nexus 4 one and the same? Or will the former stick with 8GB and 16GB?
In any case, externally, the white Google Nexus 4 is said to be identical to the black version, just with a different coloured rear.
As for Android 4.3, it’ll be Jelly Bean again, and it’s thought to be a relatively minor update. Key Lime Pie will presumably be the big dealio, rocking Android 5.0 numbering.
There’s no specific word on a UK release for the white Google Nexus 4, but we imagine Blighty will get a few boxes or so.
