With an influx of UHD TVs and talk of UHD phones and tablets, what content is actually broadcast or streamed or sold in UHD?

Some YouTube videos, the odd Netflix programme...other than that, not much really. TV won't be 4k for years (hell, most TV isn't even 1080p yet) and films are still released on Blu-Ray in 1080p with no immediate plans for that to change to 4k. About the only other 4k content is PC games, if your PC has the huge amount of graphical grunt required to play games in 4k (think, two very powerful graphics cards running in SLI).
At the moment, 4k is a waste of time for the vast majority of people; there simply isn't the content out there to justify the purchase of 4k ready devices. You might as well wait a few years until you can get 4k devices which have better panels for less money.
When major films start being released in 4k is possibly the time to buy, maybe...
