Convert iPhone voicemail to mp3?

Is there a way I can convert/extract an iPhone voicemail to mp3?

There's actually a very simple way. If you get a 3.5mm to 3.5mm lead, you can just plug one into your "mic" slot on your pc/laptop, and one into the iPhone's "headphone" slot.

Get some recording software (e.g. audacity), click Record, then play the voicemail on your iPhone. If everything's set up correctly, the voicemail should go through the cable into your computer... which is currently listening for input and recording! Once you're done, trim the file, and export as MP3. Job done. :)

Maybe via a Cydia app, not without jailbreaking though, AFAIK.

I searched and searched for a way to export the voicemails from the iPhone, but I couldn't find a way. You would think apple would provide this very basic functionality. I ended up saving my iPhone voicemails using www.SaveMyVM.com.

Yeah that's definitely as convenient as just copying the files would be..
