Just sync with Gmail or Yahoo?
Or connect iPhone to iTunes and export contacts as VCF file, then later move that file to your other phone, open the file etc...

You can also 'share' all your contacts via email to, well, yourself. Then open that email on your new phone, and the attached contacts can be added to your contacts.

To transfer contacts from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy, once again Google is my friend . A quick search and I got the following solution:

Go into iTunes, click on your iPhone in the under devices section on the left hand side.
Then you will see all the options for configuring your iPhone on the right of the screen.
Select 'info' (after summary) and check the box "sync contacts with" and then choose Google contacts.

Enter your Gmail details and sync the iPhone in iTunes and all your contacts should transfer no problem.
Or you can try iPhone to Samsung Transfer, it is a transfer tool to move data between two phones in an easy way.

I think you can use a phone transfer tool, which supports data transfer  from ios devices to android phones on pc or Mac computer, you can select the data you need, and view them on pc clearly, have a look at this , you can also transfer other data such like text messages, photos with it.

Switching phones isn't really that difficult, and takes nothing more that popping out the sim card from one device and putting it in another. And thanks to smartphones , transferring contacts from one OS to another is a walk in the park. In case you're planning to move from an Androids to an iPhone, here are some easy ways by using which you can migrate all your contacts to your new phone: http://www.androidphonesoft.com/resources/transfer-samsung-galaxy-contacts-to-iphone.html
