A survey conducted by Digital Research shows that 68% of businesses have already forked out for iPads for their employees, or at least plan to do so by the end of next year.
However, over half of the companies questioned didn’t have a specific plan for the iPad, having seemingly succumbed to iPad fever without question.
Of those that did have a clue about the iPad, the majority justified it as a means for on-the-road sales people to process paperwork and access apps. Because obviously a netbook at half the price just isn’t good enough.
The survey also showed that 83% of the correspondents favoured the iPad as their tablet of choice. BlackBerry WhatBook?
Hmm, this article makes me think Emma might be joking when she says we’re not getting iPads. Er, for processing paperwork and accessing apps on the move, of course.
