What's more cost effective for Windows gaming: tablet, laptop or PC? I'll want something high end so I can play the latest games, thanks!

I'm not into PC gaming, but I'd guess a proper desktop PC? Tablets probably lack the power for the big beefy games, and screensize is an issue, too, no?!
Also: "cost effective" needs to consider what else you need the machine for? If a portable machine is essential for your work or studies or leisure, then a gaming laptop might be the better, more 'cost effective' option even if more expensive.
But those are just some thoughts I made up. I prefer a games console, I'm not a MS fan, either.
