How much would it cost to replace an iPod touch screen?

Roughly how much would it cost to replace an iPod touch screen? My friend stood on it in her heels! Still works, but it's a bit of a mess!

Which version?
And is it the glass front or the actual lcd screen behind it too?

If its under warranty the best thing is to contact apple. They'll be able to quote the best prices.

Well unless by best you mean highest anyway, as their out of warranty repairs listed on their site range only by model not by fault and start from c£80 upto c£160.

If it's just the screen and digitiser then there seem to be available options from lots of places with instructions for around £20 or with a bit of googling fitted for about £35 newer versions slightly dearer.
