The answer is the FIRST comment in this thread. Note, a file manager app from the Play Store like Astro lets you create folders ON the phone. No PC needed, but, essentially Blizzard's reply is correct.

You connect your Wildfire to a PC. On your PC in "My Computer" you will see the Wildfire's memory as a drive. Open that drive, and you can explore the files. AND you can create a new folder. Into that folder you paste photos. Boom. It'll now appear in your Wildfire's gallery app as an album.
When you install a file manager like Astro on your Wildfire, you do NOT need a PC. You can create a new folder on your memory card, and the gallery will see that folder as an album - provided you only put photos into that folder.
If that isn't clear, you need to read up a bit on PCs and smartphones, because (no offence) this is very basic stuff on PCs and it work similarly on smartphones.
