Credit check required for phone upgrade?

If you get a new contract (upgrade) with T-Mobile, is a new credit check required?

It's is very unlikely that you will be denied upgrade, if you always pay your bill on time and fail credit check. Credit check is more of the by book procedure that is done unconsciously. I would not worry about it for upgrade.

It could be a problem, if you jump from £10/month to £50/month, but if monthly payment stays the same it should all be good.

Not sure, would guess not unless you've been a bit random in paying their bill, or unless it's through a different supplier. (After thinking about p4u annoying advert about who can upgrade through them)
