Here's a youtube clip - it shows a friend's iPhone that I jailbreaked and 'tweaked' for him
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YH4hGieWByI
(note: I slowed down the recording on purpose. There IS no lag in any of the UI elements. I thought slower playback was more suited to show what's going on)

Infinidock: add as many apps to the dock as you want.

Auxo: the multi-task switcher gets nicer thumbnails, and you can close ALL apps in one go; plus you get toggles for WiFi, 3G, torch etc etc...

Zephyr: swipe UI action => swipe left/right to switch between open apps; swipe up to close etc etc all actions can be personalised.

IntelliscreenX: bring widgets, emails, Twitter and Facebook to the Notification screen. Full version comes with Message+ which lets you read incoming messages, emails and tweets from anywhere, without leaving the app you're in...

DashboardX: lets you put those beloved(by some) widgets on the homescreen(s).

Gridlock: lets you put icons where you want them....

Bigify: change icon sizes (homescreen and dock independently); change icon label sizes etc...

Winterboard for Themes - the one in the clip is Ambriel, if I remember correctly.

Also: nice tweak to add some keyboard function: move cursor quickly by swiping over the keyboard etc etc (we know how fiddly that magnifyer thing can be)....

There's loads more.... Some listed in numerous articles do not fully work with iOS 6.1 or the iPhone 5, yet, but all that I mentioned are fine. Stable, no RAM or battery issues.

Thanks Jan!!

Is Gridlock worth $4.99? It's one of the most expensive things I've seen on Cydia yet!

The reason I ask is......I have a widget running on my homescreen number 4 (the farthest to the right). In order to be able to scroll to the widget, I need to have an icon there. BUT......I want to be able to place the icon in the bottom right where there's some space. At present, it automatically pops back to the top left.

Hope that makes sense! :D

Yeah, makes sense ;)
Good question. Is it worth 4.99? I thought so when I 'tweaked' my better half's iPad....
You can use something like iBlank - it lets you place blank icons (dead bookmark shortcuts, really) where you want them. But the thing is: with many themes and wallpapers iBlank icons show shadows.
Gridlock and iconoclasm (maybe that is cheaper?) don't cast shadows...
But yes, 4.99 is relatively expensive; especially if you only have 1 iDevice. But Gridlock at least is well maintained. Regular updates etc And it was one of the first "big name" tweaks ready for iOS 6.1 and the iPhone 5. If you spend a lot of time and money on apps, $4.99 is a lot, but I'm not big into mobile gaming, and actually use very few apps. But my main phone's a Nokia N9 :p

That aside: I decided to place widgets on the Notification screen with IntelliscreenX. That way the homescreens are uncluttered, and when I need a widget, I pull down the Notification bar.
