Since you post this question under "Samsung Galaxy S2", I assume you want to unfollow someone when using Samsung's built-in Twitter client?
I never used that one.
All third party clients that I use let you look at your followers when you check "my profile", and when you click on a follower's name, his/her profile opens. Usually there's a follow/unfollow tab.

Matt, the other mod here has an SGS2 - maybe he uses Samsung's native Twitter app. I'll ask him.

Hi I'm Matt "the other mod", I don't use (and never have used) Samsung's TW Twitter client on the S2. I will set it up on mine and try to work out how to unfollow someone for you though :). I'll get back to you with my findings, when I've found them :p.

Please note, I'm using TW ICS so I can't vouch for this being the same on GB.

I've found out how to do it (kinda). If you press and hold on one of their tweets a box will pop up, one of the options in the box is "unfollow". I can't find out a way to get a list of people you follow up though, you may have to use the official Twitter app or a computer to do that (though if the person never tweets, you won't really gain a lot from unfollowing them anyway).
