How do you delete iCloud content?

I'm getting a warning that my iCloud storage is almost full and it suggests deleting some content, but how do you do that?

Presumably this is taken up by backups? It usually is with a lot of people and the majority of the backup tends to be GB's of photos. Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage, from here you'll be able to see what is taking up the space. You can then tap into individual backups to see what is being backed up and taking up the space and you can then turn on or off accordingly. If it is photos that's taking up the majority of the space then it's advisable to empty your camera roll by transferring your photos to a Mac/PC.

Yep, as TJ says - just transfer your photos to a computer and kill the photo backup.
Or use DropBox or Mega or OneDrive for photos. They all offer plenty of free space.
