Downgrade to iOS 7?

Can you "try" iOS 8 but downgrade to iOS 7 if you don't like it?

It depends on your device and on some other factors, and it may go wrong...

If you're unsure, and especially if you own an older device such as the 4S or iPad 2, I'd stay clear and wait for the next update. iPad 2 and iPhone 4S users encounter many issues. The devices are simply too old and lack the hardware power, it would seem.

I upgraded an iPhone 5 that I got very cheap 2nd hand, and that I'm not using as my main phone. If it were my main/only device, I wouldn't have upgraded. My Motto is: letter others be the guinea pig. I usually wait for feedback and fixes whenever a major OS update happens.
