Why doesn't Draw Something work? Error Marmalade?!?!

Installed the latest Draw Something update last night and now it won't open! I get "Error Marmalade v6.0.2".

It seems to be an application bug. Marmalade is the app's developer, and their cross-platform development tool afaik.
Try reinstalling. Or restore the older version from a back-up?

Deleted and reinstalled... no success! Also removed the app permission from Facebook (suggested on another forum), but still no luck. Might try a restore later. Thanks Jan :D

I kept opening the app and every time I would try to scroll down it would give me that message then the app would crash. seems to work ok when I opened the app again and just started playing the people on top of my list without trying to scroll down! hope that helps.

What version is that?

Cassidy1271  Jan. 13, 2013 at 00:41

I have marmalade on my kindle for draw something and now I can't even press on play at all.

Cassidy1271  Jan. 13, 2013 at 00:43

is there a way to get marmalade away from draw something forever

JanSt / MOD  Jan. 13, 2013 at 12:21

Some people reckon the latest version has a fault related to WiFi connectivity. They tried reinstall etc without success, but using 3G instead of WiFi fixed their problems.

@Cassisdy Marmalade is the developer, and their coding tool afaik. You can't 'get it away'?!!!!!

I installed the last update for draw something 2. The 1.6.5. And now it won't load. Have tied everything but totally deleting and reloading. Don't want to loose all my coins and tools. Help!!!

JanSt / MOD  Jun. 2, 2013 at 23:45 I think the recent customer reviews speak volumes....
The only thing I can think off is that you Google "draw something .apk", and then you see if you find the older version to sideload. But I don't know if you'll lose your achievements that way. I'd assume they'd be gone. But I'm no Android expert, and I've never played Draw Something.

Greetings, I'm having a problem with DrawSomething (Free) giving Marmalade 7.3.0 [385148] error "Heap 1 out of memory. Allocating 32 bytes but only 48 available (12 LFB). Increase icf setting [s3e] MemSize1 (current value is 768288). I get the same (or similar) error on my Android (Motorola Droid Maxx) and on my Kindle Fire. I uninstalled/reinstalled from my Android and the app opened but when I logged in as MY account, it crashed again.

JanSt / MOD  Aug. 27, 2014 at 09:07

Apparently, that error means you're out of memory. The app cannot use space on the memory card. It has to be available internally. Now, it seems unlikely that all your devices are that close to totally full?!? If they are, do yourself a favour and get deleting! Unnecessary stuff delete or move to SD card. If your devices' internal memory has ample space free, contact the developers. Contact details are available in the Play Store.

Deleted half my apps/photos and still nothing. Am refusing to delete and reinstall though

ayyran00  Aug. 27, 2014 at 17:01

I just updated mine like sirmaher and I got the exact same error but mine says allocating 32 but only 136 is available. I deleted some data from other apps. But the 136 never changed

Try their support pages and forum, maybe? =>

sirmaher  Aug. 28, 2014 at 02:24

I've reivewed the support pages. Can't find anything appropriate/related to my situation. What I found was that I setup my Kindle FIre with the latest version of DrawSomething. When I initially ran it, it was working fine with a new user account (omgpop#####). When I logged in with my account name & password, the kindle crashed too. It's my account, not the device or the version. Or, it's my account+version, not the device.

I'm having the exact same problem and I don't even have that much stuff on my Iphonej. Apparently all my friends are drawing, I got 16 notifications and am getting nudges because I can't draw back. DRAW SOMETHING, FIX THIS or tell me how toooooo

From their FB page 13 hours ago....

Obviously, you are not the only people with problems...

As annoying as it is: there are over 18,000 unique Android device models, they have millions of unique setups, configurations, apps combinations etc etc....Things are bound to go wrong.

I'm typing this on a HTC One M8 - it's practically as new. Only 2 3rd party apps.
Yet, it suffers from 3 weird issues that nobody believes me are possible...
The disadvantage of OSs that allow for shedloads of personalisation in hard- and software is this: loads and loads of potential for weird issues.

ayyran00  Aug. 28, 2014 at 22:28

I switched all my downloaded apps off my SD card and only left Draw Something (vice versa), nothing changed.

Ashley361  Aug. 29, 2014 at 23:23

This is happening to me too guys I am really annoyed. I have a brand new 64 gb ipad and have 59 gb available and the memory error is still showing up. They had better seriously fix this because i love this game. :(
