Just dropped my Iphone it is out of warranty, what is the best way to replace it?

It is covered by insurance (home) but would get it fixed without claiming from them

It doesn't really matter that your iPhone is out of warranty, accidental damage wouldn't have been covered anyway. Given the fragility of iDevices, some people have managed to go down to Apple Stores and squeak out a free repair. This is fairly rare though, it depends on what manager/ genius you speak to, how you come across, how badly damaged the phone is, the alignment of the moon etc.

In short, it may be worth a shot, but don't hold your breath.

Apple will replace it for another one in as new condition, for a single payment of £119.

This will take a few minutes at the Apple store or you can phone and ask for a replacement delivery service (costs a little more)
