Dual SIM Android Phones

Can anyone suggest good available and upcoming DUAL SIM phones? Data support on both SIMs is a must, is there even such thing?

I've looked at STAR models (latest seems to be N9330) and was wondering if anyone knows something other than MTK6577 chipset.

How do you tell if dual data capability is supported?

There are a number of phones coming out with rhe new MT6589 processor which is a quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It supports dual sim capitalises with one Sim in 3G/2G mode. The other sim will be on 2G only. So yes you can have data working on both sims (not at the same time) but obviously only one would pick up 2G data.

Both sims will work for calls/texts at the same (even when on a call) time though thanks to the dual active radio.

Have a look at the Jiayu G4, Umi X1S and Umi X2 which will be launching next month.

If you go to google and type in "mediatek mt6589 everything you need to know" then click on the second link which is an article from Gizchina written by me you can read through and see how much better the processor is compared to the others. Plus then on the right of the website you get a list of the top 15 phones using this processor plus others.

Just post here if you need any advice on importing or the phone in general.

Found it. Not sure why you didn't simply post a link. Hoping prices will stay as announced. Oppo 5 sells for more than Note 2.

Because if i posted a link i'd have to have the post moderated and theres no way to get around that.

Yeh Oppo 5 is expensive. But it's not dual sim.

I'd recommend the Hero H7500+ over the above, Bit better then the ones above.

Can you speak german? :P

5.0 inch 1280x720 TFT
1.2GHz Quad core processor
1GB ram/4GB rom (micro sd card support)
8mp camera/3mp camera (can be interpolated to 12mp)
Dual Sim/GPS/Bluetooth/DC-HSPA+ 42Mbps
Android Jellybean
2800mAh battery.

Price is under £130 with shipping

If you want to wait next month and have another extra £50 to spend you can probably get double the ram and a 1080p screen but tbh this phone is great at the current spec.

Recommend AliExpress for shipping.

Nope, do not speak German.
I would rather go for higher quality and more expensive phone. It's £150 on AliExpress, but seller doesn't ship to UK.

Is that what you would recommend? or there is something better?

Looks like 7500+ is a Zopo rebrand from here: http://www.zopomobileshop.com/en/87-zopo-zp810-phone.html
