How easy is it to root an Android phone?
How easy is it to root an Android phone? I have an HTC Sensation XE and fancy mucking around with it

First you need to unlock the bootloader. HTC's developer site lets you do it after you create an account => http://htcdev.com/bootloader
If your phone is branded by a network, unlocking the bootloader could be difficult.
