How much does eBay take if you sell a phone on eBay?

Say I sold my phone for £200 on eBay, how much would eBay take? Does it take a % cut? Never sold anything before, but bought loads! Thanks!

eBay take 10%, PayPal take 3.4%. You can avoid PayPal's fees if you deal cash in hand and you can avoid eBay and PayPal's fees if you just sell on somewhere like Gumtree instead.

Try looking at amazon marketplace too. I sell on both and you get a good price and slightly lower selling costs on amazon!

I find amazon costs generally higher then ebay altho you can sometimes sell things for a little more on there then ebay.

I thought amazon fee's are in the region of 20%?

Ebay takes 10% of the final sale value, Paypal takes 3.4% + 20p :-( Also I heard the commission is also taken from your delivery charges if you have any, not looking good.

13.4%*200+0.2= £27 (- the commission of postages aswell, if they charge it) OUCH! So your left with £163 or less

This is the reason why I stopped selling things on eBay, rip off.

Better of selling with HUKD's FS/FT section or Gumtree. No fess.
