EE to launch WiFi Calling service this Friday for selected handsets

After last week’s announcement of the upcoming Power Bar scheme, EE are to launch yet another program later this week in their continuing mission to retain customers. The WiFi Calling service will allow customers to use a WiFi connection to make an receive calls when they cannot get any signal elsewhere, and all without needing to use an app to activate the feature. As it stands, customers with the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and the Nokia Lumia 640 will gain access to the new feature from Friday 10th April, with EE planning on bringing it to even more customers by the summer.
