EE has had the UK's 4G playground pretty much all to itself thus far, but with rival networks about to join the fray it's just unleashed its latest LTE offering: 30-day SIM-free 4G LTE contracts.
You pay an extra £2 over the monthly price of the equivalent data bundle on a 12-month deal, but of course it gives you an opt-out way of sampling the provider's 4G service for as little as £23.
That's for the cheapest 500MB option, but five further tiers are available, starting at £28 for 1GB of data over the month, all the way up to £63 for 20GB of data. In all cases, UK calls and texts are included.
The 30-day contracts will still give users access to discounts and extras included in EE's other 4G deals, such as EE Film, which offers 2-for-1 cinema tickets, listings, trailers and the like, and a £5 per month discount on EE superfast fibre broadband.
The new deal is available as of today, and you can check out more details online.
