Fresh off sticking a knife through the heart of Phones 4u, which was actually doing alright until this week, EE has announced revised SIM only plans.
The upshot is that they’re a wee bit cheaper, with the usual thing where you get more data if you sign up before a certain date. “The sooner, the better!” is what Olaf Swantee would probably say.
Keeping things nice and SIMple (I’m here all week), you’re effectively getting £3 off per month if you sign up for a 12-month deal rather than the 30-day rolling option.
Oh, and each of EE’s SIM only offerings – five in total – includes unlimited minutes, so I won’t bother reiterating that.
Right! So, coming in low we have 250MB of data with 250 minutes for £9.99 (12 months) or £12.99 (30 days), moving up through 500MB, 2GB and 5GB options until we get to this: 10GB of data and unlimited minutes for £27.99 (12 months) or £30.99 (30 days).
If you’re interested in those middle guys (the pic above is probably a tad hard to read), hit up the EE Newsroom for specifics.
It’s worth noting that the 2GB, 5GB and 10GB options also throw in free 080 numbers and access to EE’s double speed network, though the data drops to 1GB, 3GB and 5GB respectively for anyone signing up - signing up - after January 31 next year.
And that’s EE’s new SIM only tariffs. Goodnight!
