Eee Pad Transformer 'demand' explained

Doesn't “sold out” create a better impression than “er, we're still waiting for it to arrive”? That's what Asus thinks too, reports AllThingsD, which is why we all thought the Eee Pad Transformer was selling like hotcakes over the past couple of weeks, when essentially there just weren't enough of the things made in the first place.

That is a quicknews bit - just linking to what another site reports.
Mobot already covered the fact that Asus couldn't make enought tabs in another article. And initially it was in fact reported that the Transformer pad had sold out cause everyone in the ''UK was Asus pad crazy'...when in fact the numbers shipped were so low that is was almost impossible to buy one.
Sure, there is no proof, but it did smell like 'spin'. Lets pretend it sold out, when in fact there was nothing to buy...
