What's your experience of the Three network?

Does anyone use Three Mobile? I'm tempted by all you can eat data but I've heard lots of good and bad stories!!

Won't work at all well in my house the middle of the London Borough where I live. Apparently it's fabulous in the rolling hills of Wales though :/ Personally I wouldn't touch it until I can get a decent (stable) signal indoors.

Depends on the area. If there are a lot people using it data does not work at all. Have to try for yourself.

BTW, their customer service is great and pleasure to speak with, so all bad reviews of customer service are not true. They are, however, absolutely useless and have not a single clue what they are doing.

Go on their website and ask for free SIM to be mailed to you. Use it as PAYG and see if you like it.

GiffGaff also offers unlimited data, so Three is not your only option. GiffGaff service is not great either, so you have to give it a try with PAYG first. If you are looking for a contract deal with phone (something that GiffGaff does not have) it will be cheaper to buy a phone and stay with PAYG.

I am on currently three and t-mobile (work and personal numbers). I have to say that smart phone performance on three is generally poor. I often get people calling my business number (t-mobile) because they cant reach me on my three number. Internet/downloading is just the same and it doesnt matter if I switch phones around. I have tried Nokias, Samsungs and various other brands (SE, OSF, Alcatel).

I'm stuck on a 24 month contract as well!

T-Mobile also has unlimited internet? You have 500MB for streaming and unlimited everything else, is that correct?

Best network in my opinion is Vodafone. O2 is next with good coverage, but slow 3G.
