Facebook Home can be disabled on HTC First, behind is stock Android

Facebook Home can be disabled on HTC First, behind is stock AndroidIf you like the sound of the HTC First as far as specs go, but don’t fancy Facebook Home all up in yo’ face, get ready for some utterly fantastic news.

Essentially, hiding behind Facebook Home, is a little something you and I know as stock Android. Sah-weet.

The news first trickled out of the Facebook newsroom, which hosts a bunch of Facebook Home-related questions. Er, a Facebook Home FAQ, if you will.

One question asks: “Do I have to continue using Home after I install it?” The answer: “No. You can easily turn off Home in your Home Settings. If you like Home but don't want it to appear as your lock screen, you have that option as well.”

Of course, that left a question mark over the HTC First, the Facebook Home flagship. Specifically, if it can be disabled, what’s behind Facebook Home?

Well, HTC has confirmed to The Verge that the HTC First rocks plain old Android, no Sense or nothin’.

As such, the HTC First might appeal to potential buyers for reasons other than intended. “The ironing is delicious”.

Ahem??? It's utterly mediocre. You can visit Expansys or Amazon or or or and pick up a superior phone for less money. Heck, NO phone would be superior :p
