If you could have ONE feature improved on your phone?

If your phone's maker would grant you ONE reasonable/feasible wish to make your phone better, what would you ask them to improve/add?

I'm currently using a Nokia C7 (mainly), and I'd go for a portrait qwerty.

On the iphone 4, I think the speakers are in a terrible position. For some games or when watching youtube, I am holding the phone in a landscape mode, and my fingers cover the speakers, muffling the sound. Here's a quick snap of what I mean:

emma, yeah, it's annoying during gaming or video watching.
Similar to my Nokia C7's sensor for auto screen brightness. When using the phone in landscape and in dim lighting conditions, brightness changes every time your typing finger covers the sensor...they should have programmed a short delay so the sensor only reacts when it's really 'dark' or bright...

Battery life.
I want modern smart phones to last more than a couple of hours heavy usage after you unplug the, There's nothing more annoying than being halfway through some task when all of a sudden it

True, mrew...
I'll go with one charge per day. But 2?
I can live with a less fancy UI if I get the job done instead.

I've got the iPhone 4 and I'd love to see them fit a decent camera, its not the number of megapixels that are the issue just the sensor and a manual option for the level of compression - I'd love to be able to take a photo that wasn't full of artifacts from compression.

The cam is great for fun shots and cool effects to impress, but not so good for realistic depictions.. It's the Jobs Reality Distortion Factor, I think :p

Battery life, manufacturers are all pushing for thinner/biger screened smartphones when all I want (and im sure im not alone) is to have a smartphone that harks back to the good old days where I could get through a couple of days without having to charge the damn thing

Im not interested in a phone that is 1mm thinner than the opposition, make it the same thickness and put a bigger battery in it FFS

+1 stelph
The Sony Ericsson Arc eg - I was scared to touch it, and I can't imagine putting it in my pocket. I'd rather they had made it thicker with room for a more powerful battery.
