The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has bagged a few exclusives in its time, perhaps most notably Minecraft, and now FIFA 12 is making its debut on the ailing handset.
If I knew anything at all about football, I might’ve tried to make some sort of joke at this point. But I don’t, so I won’t. Let’s move on.
FIFA 12 launched yesterday on the Xperia Play Portal, and, on top of being an exclusive, it’s also available for the incredibly attractive price of 0p – or “free” if you prefer.
“Fans can expect greater gameplay depth, authentic commentaries, updated with the greatest clubs in the world, and new replay systems and stadium designs to make for a more powerful FIFA mobile experience,” roared Andrei Lazarescu, FIFA Producer.
“We're really proud of what we have managed to achieve, and we think fans will agree that the game is visually stunning. EA SPORTS FIFA 12 has been adapted to the Xperia PLAY to fully take advantage of both the hardware PLAY controls, as well as the touchscreen.”
Xperia Play owners can also grab a few other EA titles for nowt at present, namely Need For Speed Hot Pursuit, Dead Space, Battlefield and Need For Speed Shift. Not too shabby.
