Mozilla has just outed a fifth beta of the mobile version of Firefox 4, reports Engadget. It's reportedly more stable than ever before and has been released in Android and – Nokia N900 users take note – Maemo versions.

I use Firefox on laptops and desktops, but they should stop wasting resources on the mobile version imho... the mobile version sucks. Add-ons aside it brings nothing to the table. Oh, wait, it does: it's slow. The maemo version has been out and fiddled with for 'ages', and it still hardly works at all. Not even deserving of the beta-tag. I've seen Alpha builds of other browsers that performed better.
