Flashing/rooting/upgrading a Archos 7 Home Tablet (HTv2)

Anybody got a simple guide to flashing/rooting/upgrading this tablet? A video tutorial would be even better!

Did it work :)?

yeah it worked a treat. Except I can pick up my WIFI connection now. It picks up the neighbours but not mine. Havent quite figured it out yet but its probably something to do with it been hidden.

Going to look more into it tomorrow cos its bedtime now!

worked after I made my wifi connection discoverable, let the tablet latch onto it then make it hidden again.

Strange, but at least its working. Shame its such a slow tablet but for £50 it'll keep the kids busy in the car and when 'out and about'.

I'm glad to hear you got it working mate :).

I did some more research and apparently there's a version of CM7 with Android 2.3 out for the Archos 7 Home Tablet HTv2. I don't know how functional it is but you might want to look into it :).

As long as it keeps your kids happy (aka quiet :p), it's serving its purpose I suppose :).

I may test it out (send me the link). People have been saying its slow/unstable.
