Is there a folder somewhere with all my iMessage pictures?

The iPhone obviously stores all your iMessage pictures somewhere, but is there an easy way to access them all without going through the individual messages manually? Like if I want to look at a picture someone sent at Christmas last year, I have to scroll all the way back to Christmas last year in the specific message thread. I guess jailbreak would be involved.

Okay, all sms/imessage attachments are stored in the following directory:
Library/SMS/Attachments - even deleted ones according to some articles. You can access that directory with iTools and save those pics to your PC

No, afaik, that is not possible.
You need to save images individually as you receive them. They are then in your camera roll.
Once synced to your PC/Mac you can then browse them sorted by date in Explorer or Finder...

Well, PS: you can install iTools on your PC. Connect your iPhone, and you can browse all (most) folders on your iPhone (without jailbreak). Maybe you find the images?
iTools is free. Just Google for it.

Is there a different folder for different versions of IOS? I cannot find anything. Using itools or just using the directory.
