Wandering around Mobile World Congress over the past 20-odd hours, we’ve scored all sorts of, er, amazing stuff. An HTC One X, a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, an Asus PadFone… nope, none of those.
Instead, we’ve amassed a modest pile of useless cr*p. Am I allowed to say ‘cr*p’? Better throw an asterisk in just in case.
First up we have the pride of our collection: a sumo squeeze toy from Hitachi. Isn’t that a bit like me giving out inflatable bagpipes? Not that we’re complaining; we’ve grown quite attached to the little fella.
Next up is a Nokia lollipop, which Wendy reluctantly relinquished for the briefest of seconds while I took a pic.
We also have a collection of pin badges from Amdocs. Cripes knows what they’re doing here. I used to use Amdocs back when I worked in International Trade. True story. Apparently collecting eight badges entitles you to enter a draw for an iPad 2, so I'll be popping back later.
And finally, a ridiculous pen from Go-Trust, with a little pull-out banner on the side. Again, no idea what they’re up to at Mobile World Congress, but we now have a pen – that’s the important thing.
We've landed a couple of items already today. I won't reveal all just yet, but let's just say our breath is minty fresh...
