Galaxy S2 battery draining quickly

Me brother has an S2 and says that after returning from work, he charges his phone in his car. Batteries on 99%. Gets home and half of batteries gone. Would you say he needs a new battery? Or is it something to do with software? Currently looking at the Anker 1900mah battery. Any good?

If he hasn't installed any dubious apps recently, I'd say it sounds like an exhausted battery....

Like jan said, check if an app or something else is excessively using the battery under the stats page in the android settings.

If nothing then I do recommend banker 100% their products are great

Yeah, if nothing suspicious is eating his battery, it'll just be shot. My S2 battery was getting to be pretty poor before I sold it, batteries just wear out after so many recharge cycles.

Also, I've heard nothing but praise for Anker, so I'd recommend them.

Cheer everyone, just bought the Anker battery
