If you've got a Gmail account can it be .co.uk and .com?

Do they both work for the same account? I know dots are redundant, and you can make it googlemail or gmail as you wish.

I don't think it matters in any way. As long as it resolves to google in some way Gmail will figure out where to send it. Might end up tagged as SPAM thought, if it's first time.

Works whatever you put. My email address is @googlemail.co.uk but a lot of the time I'll just shorthand it to @gmail.com and emails still arrive. Google accounts are global - you could use .fr if you felt like it.
