Gold Nokia Lumia 930 coming to China this month

Gold Nokia Lumia 930 coming to China this monthWe’re getting used to the idea that it’ll be several long months before a proper new Windows Phone flagship, leaving the Nokia Lumia 930 and Lumia 1520 to hold their own against the ever-increasing Android army.

In the meantime, Microsoft is launching a fancy new limited edition gold Nokia Lumia 930, for customers in China.

The Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector’s Edition (brilliant name) will sell for 2,899 Chinese Yuan (around £310 in our money), giving credence to the assumption that we’re talking about gold colouring as opposed to, y’know, actual gold.

Only 3,000 units of Microsoft’s Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector’s Edition will be produced, and sweetening the deal, you’ll also get a DC-20 Car Charger and Nokia DT900 wireless charging pad thrown in.

Otherwise specs will remain unchanged from the plain old Nokia Lumia 930, so you’re looking at a 5in 1080p display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, 20MP rear camera, 1.2MP front shooter, 2,420mAh battery, and Windows Phone 8.1.

If you’re fluent in Chinese, head over to Microsoft’s Chinese store, where the Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector’s Edition will start shipping from January 19.
