Google Chrome as default iOS browser

Can I set Google Chrome as my default iOS browser instead of Safari?

It's stupid, but you can't change the default browser in iOS without jailbreaking. It must be extra annoying when you consider how well Chrome syncs between desktop and mobile. so does Safari ... :p If you haz a Mac :(

Yeah, high time. In fact, after iOS 8.1 came out or thereabout, Opera Mini for iOS had the feature in its Appstore description (set as default browser), to then quickly remove that passage. It IS possible... When Apple goes wrong, it goes very wrong...

No, you cannot change the default browser in iOS. There was hope that iOS 8 would bring that option...but nah - to make Chrome your default browser, you would still need to jailbreak your iPhone or iPad. If saving a couple of seconds when opening a link is worth losing your warranty and potentially opening various security holes...only you can tell.
