Google Chromecast vs Apple TV

I hadn't realised Google Chromecast was released here! (Just saw samsungwarrior's post)

My question: what can Apple TV do that Google Chromecast can't? Chromecast being a third of the price and iOS-compatible :D

Have a read, seems quite comprehensive.
For what it's worth I've got a Sky NowTV box. for £10 it does everything I could ask now that ive sideloaded Plex. I can view all my movies, listen to all my music and see all my photos on my main TV. And it's got iPlayer, 4oD and 5 on Demand. :)

Long story short: same sh*t different name.
Either one will stream online content to TV, but will not be able to play anything that you already have on your computer.

As mrew mentioned you would need to setup PLEX for either one to stream content that you already have and it's not an easy thing to setup.

I don't have either one and not planning on getting them. Would suggest going with Chromecast only due to it's price. With £99 price tag for Apple TV you can add another £100 and get HTPC with 100% support for everything. Or plug in your laptop directly to TV and use wireless keyboard/mouse to control it.
