That still leaves a question mark over the third prong, the Google Nexus 10. The latest rumours suggest the second-generation chap is a) imminent, b) priced £299, and c) built by LG. Interesting.
If the second-gen Google Nexus 10 is looking to mop up at Christmas, it’s cutting it rather fine. It was previously rumoured to be built by Asus, but the tablet was conspicuous by its absence at the recent Google Nexus 5 launch.
As we await official word from Google and its partner of choice (the first-generation Google Nexus 10 was built by Samsung, incidentally), a couple of pics have appeared on Reddit.
One has since been removed at the source, but needless to say it’s still doing the rounds on ye olde cyberweb.
Basically what we’re seeing is a tablet with the codename LG-V510, with a giant LG watermark for good measure, while the second image – “PROPERTY OF TELEFONICA” – promises Nexus 10 price at £299.
It’s perhaps worth noting that the two Google Nexus 10 images appear to mesh in terms of the device on display (including the home screens), but we're off to the toilet to do a couple of lines of salt, just to be on the safe side.
