Google Nexus 4 back in stock. Again

Google Nexus 4 back in stock. AgainI can’t say I’d necessarily noticed it being out of stock this time around, but the cyberweb is all excited about the much-discussed Google Nexus 4 making a return to Google Play in the UK.

As before, you can pick up an 8GB Google Nexus 4 for £239, or a 16GB unit for £279. Get them while they’re hot, kids.

Both the 8GB and 16GB Google Nexus 4 are listed as being “In Stock”, with delivery taking place in 3-5 business days.

History suggests they’ll sell out fairly quickly, though it’s not clear how many Google Nexus 4s are available; could be 10, could be 10,000.

With its crazily reasonable price tag, the Google Nexus 4 sold out in around 30 minutes when it initially went on sale last year.

Supply has been “scarce and erratic” to quote Google, suggesting that LG is to blame for the shortages.

However, the South Korean manufacturer explained (via LG UK guy Andy Coughlin): “As with any sales process, LG supplies product quantities against partners'/customers' (i.e. retailers, operators etc) forecasts. Demand via the Play Store has been very high in this instance.”

In any case, the Google Nexus 4 is back, but don’t bank on it being back for good. Whatever I said, whatever I did, I didn’t mean it…
