Google Nexus 5 or LG G2?

Is the Google Nexus 5 the same as the LG G2 just without the rear buttons and slightly smaller?

Significantly smaller battery, not such good cameras, no bloat which is big issue unless putting custom rom on the G2, apparently nexus speed to G2 speed is heck of a difference, though maybe some of that is KK which I like a lot. And some of the LG stuff is actually quite neat.

32gb nexus easier to get hold of though.
G2 4G doesn't seem to include 800mhz which vodafone will be using, that said why be with vodafone

Honestly, I'd buy a Moto G instead of a Nexus 5; the N5 simply isn't worth nearly three times the price of the Moto G.

The G2 seems a decent phone, Techradar gave it 4.5/5 stars. Personally I custom ROM all my phones, but if I didn't the LG bloat would be a massive turn off for me.

As Pondi said, hardware wise the G2 wipes the floor with the N5.

Straight from the LG G2 box
LTE 2100/1800/2600/900/800

So the UK/EU versions do support all the bands in use by UK operators.

As for which one, depends if you need the latest version of Android.
If you're fine being a couple versions behind then the G2 takes it for the battery life.

Buttons aren't much of a big deal, personally I like the G2 placement but screen on/off can be done by KnockOn and Volume controls are in the notification pane.

Also G2 has IR Blaster (with decent remote app)
Nexus 5 has wireless charging.

That's handy, was just going by the gsmarena page which didn't list that frequency.
