Google Play Store begins pre-registration for apps

In a bid to help out those who forget when apps are releasing, Google have begun rolling out a new pre-register feature for the apps on the Google Play store. The feature allows customers to receive a push notification once the app is available to buy without committing to buying it (as you would with a pre-order.)

The first app to take advantage of the pre-register service will be Terminator Genisys: Revolution, a third-person action game that will tie-in with the upcoming film. As of now there are no other apps that are using the feature, but we expect it will roll out to other future releases in the coming months.
