A decidedly different pic has been leaked to phoneArena this time around. Indeed, no one’s quite sure if it is the Samsung Galaxy S III. Confused? Me too.
This latest pic is purportedly of the GT-i9300. The model number has been kicking around for a while now, and it was largely believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S III.
However, a recently leaked user agent profile detailing a 1024 x 600 resolution for the GT-i9300 shot that notion to pieces (er, assuming it was accurate). Is it an entirely different phone? Probably. Maybe.
As for the pic of the GT-i9300, we’ve got Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) and Samsung TouchWiz, with all the usual Samsung bells and whistles. Interestingly, there’s also S Memo, S Planner and S Suggest, a trio of S-Pen apps currently found exclusively on the Galaxy Notes.
Somewhat surprisingly, the Samsung logo is below the display. Also, the bezel is very much not thin, however it’s difficult to get a good sense of the build as there’s what appears to be a case around the sides. We hope.
All in all, we’re thinking the GT-i9300 probably isn’t the Samsung Galaxy S III. Next!
