How hard is it for manufacturers to put Windows Phone on an Android phone?

Could manufacturers easily put Windows Phone on a phone that's built for Android?

Like could LG put Windows Phone on the LG G2 if they wanted to, or is it more complicated?

In theory and technically it's possible with, at least, some Android phones. WP has certain hardware demands and limitations, of course.
I'm in no mood to look at the specs now to tell you which Android phones could be converted more easily. A) I'm not that bored :p and B) it's unlikely any OEM would do that. Those devices were designed with Android in mind. And things like "brand identity" etc come into play, too.

Well the Ativ and the HTC efforts weren't too dissimilar to their respective android cousins. Albeit with more restrictions in the hardware.
They would be reluctant to make them more identical as it would make their android phones look overpriced compared to the price they'd have to swallow to shift their WP8 phones. Look at ATIV price vs S3...
