Harrods to offer BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 for £1,275

Harrods to offer BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 for £1,275We first laid eyes on the intriguing BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 back in September, but didn’t have a clue – initially – what the hell it was.

In the following weeks, we learned that BlackBerry and Porsche had teamed up for some designer smartphone action, and that the mysterious chap was called the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981.

Essentially, the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 is a really fancy BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900. It’s much the same inside, but the outside is comprised of a single block of stainless steel, with some hot leather casing on the back.

We fully expected the BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 to go for around £2,000, but, as the Telegraph reports, Harrods will offer the pretentious chap for the significantly more reasonable price of £1,275.

The BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 has a 2.8in touchscreen (640x280) above its full QWERTY keyboard, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 8GB of internal storage, with BlackBerry OS 7 on OS duties.

Fancy it? The BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9981 is expected to be produced in very limited quantities, so get Harrods on the blower ASAP.
