What do you really hate about your current mobile phone?

Is there something that really annoys you about your mobile? I hate how my HTC Desire always goes back to the call log after a call by default.

On my blackberry curve; I absolutely hate how hard it is to attach an image to an email. It's mostly because I don't take the time to name every picture on the phone tho :)

HTC Desire HD =>>> worst battery cover in mobile history :p Good phone, but whoever designed that lid was drunk and had just been fired.

iPhone 4 - I found it hard to think of something on it that really annoys me. Perhaps that the screen is a bit hard to see in bright light?

Or maybe pressing mute with my face when I am on a call. I am talking away and the other person is saying "hello, hello, is there anyone there..."

iPhone 4 (my hubby's phone) - the fact that you need a paperclip to change sim cards! Aaaargh it winds me up every time. Google Nexus One - a bunch of dust got into my screen... luckily it doesn't seem to affect anything.

On my Nokia 1208, I can't take pictures, This is a fundamental flaw by Nokia who are considered one of the best in the mobile market, having had such prestige since mobiles became widespread. When i go to the supermarket, I find a very good saving but I cannot take a picture and this means every one shouts at me and gets unhappy and generally becomes an internet warrior. I feel sorry for these people, therefore i wish Nokia makes a new version of 1208 but with a camera, calling it 1208i.

iPhone 4 - The fact that it vibrates when you get a message/e-mail whilst on a call! I have the phone pressed onto my ear and suddenly it vibrates - very annoying!

Desire HD: Agree about the battery cover, had to treat it as if it was made from an angel's wing (and trying to get it back on was a ****).

The battery. (My HD died on me when I needed it this afternoon, for phone calls). Surely in this day and age of smartphones, we should have superbatteries? My old trusty Sony Ericsson would have had a good three days left in it from an AM charge.

louiselouise...
I couldn't face mentioning the battery -that;s why I brought up the cover instead. Battery is okay when I disable 3g - I get through a full day, polling 2 email accounts every 30 mins and letting skype IM run in the background. But enabling 3g - whoa... it makes the iPhone 4 look like a power thrift pro. And then the battery indicator on the Desire HD... Half full to red alert: 20 minutes.

HTC Hero - The most annoying thing is how slooow it is lol. Oh and the camera is aweful as well. My last phone N95 8GB had a pretty good camera on it!

HTC Desire - this phone is fantastic, but the speaker on the back is horrible! It distorts and sounds really tinny. I hope they fixed it for the Desire HD or their future phones because its the only thing that will stop me upgrading to another HTC.

Nokia N97 - the way the slider button on the side breaks off , happened to mine and the wifes.

keithwilletts  Feb. 5, 2011 at 16:20

my HTC HD2 a great phone but limited in the number of apps in marketplace due to win 6.5 and no browser to play the latest videos using flash 10

JanSt / MOD  Feb. 5, 2011 at 18:00

@keithwilletts You can fix opera on the HD2 to play flash video => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544770 If you search a bit more, you will also find a rigged Opera Mobile 10 for the HD2 that supports flash.

Gr1zz1y89  Feb. 6, 2011 at 01:07

HTC Hero - shocking battery life, laggy, heavy, alarm just decides to not go off sometimes, linking contacts from facebook is god awful. and top it all of, it doesnt play angry birds!

Om3rJ  Feb. 6, 2011 at 12:45

HTC Desire SUPERB phone with one of the worst battery life in the history of man kind lol

Mateus109  Feb. 6, 2011 at 15:19

I hate my N95 for crashing all the time and losing data (photos, music, etc) even with the latest firmware. Latest problem: paid for Nokia Maps but the app cashes when routing :( (thankfully Maps only cost me about £8 I think).

Smoka  Feb. 6, 2011 at 15:22

iPhone - you can't edit a number that easily

steve1231  Feb. 6, 2011 at 15:43

HTC Hero - **** worse battery life ever, and O yeh, is has the SHITTIST camera ever. "oooo look at me, I have a 5mp camera" "NO YOUR ****".

Ok, my rants over, bye :)

JanSt / MOD  Feb. 6, 2011 at 16:14

Mateus109 You paid for navigation, not the maps, right? Anyhow, how long have you had it? It might help to completely reformat the memory. Back up everything to pc, reformat the memory, and restore content, apps etc.
Also: with Symbian S60 device you get a huge performance boost if you install as many apps as possible to the flash memory rather than the phone memory. Most apps don't mind.

iPhone 4 - the battery life :(

stevebarnes  Feb. 6, 2011 at 19:52

Sony Satio - EVERYTHING (except the camera)
But more specifically: The fact that it crashes if you receive a txt whilst web browsing, the fact it can only handle a total of 3000 media files meaning you can't fill the memory card, the 18-24hr battery, the constant locks, the unresponsive keyboard, the lack of software for it, and the auto zoom for wallpapers! Only 5 months till I can get an upgrade!

HC Desire - Battery Life is rubbish.. I have to plug it in every single time I'm in. Also, the speaker is pretty bad and not loud enough. And worse, the internal memory is rubbish, even with apps2sd enabled, I can't even install half the apps I want on my phone.
