Hello, I have a LG GU280 mobile phone .

Hello, I have a LG GU280 mobile phone that I purchased while I was in France. The phone works well and I am quite happy with it. My only problem is that when I open the slider there is always a small square in the centre of the screen that block the view of the clock. The square is about 2cm square with lines across it like notepaper. It has the numerals 4am in the bottom left hand corner and 18;00 in the bottom right. I can find no way to remove this. can you help me please?

Thank you

Sounds to me like you're LG GU280 is trying to tell you something? A pop-up calendar event, maybe? (like an alarm for an event that already passed?)
I check on LG's support page, but couldn't find a manual for your phone. You could do a factory reset? Or Re-install/update the firmware.
But first I'd root around in the calendar and alarm apps to find out if maybe some regular alarm keeps popping up as a reminder.
The software update for the LG GU280 is available here(in case you want to update the firmware.)
