Good news for HTC users drumming their fingers on their Sense UIs waiting for a bit of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich action: HTC has promised it'll have all its updates out by the end of the month.
Of course, this from a company that is only having to make the promise because it's failed to deliver on previous promises. And Desire HD users: sorry, you're still not on the ICS VIP list.
Life isn't much fun for HTC at the moment, so we'll cut it some slack and say that while yes it is late in getting its Ice Cream Sandwich updates out the door, it's by no means the only Android OEM on that particular naughty stop.
That isn't much consolation for owners of the likes of the HTC Rhyme and HTC Desire S, who expected to have their Android 4.0 updates already, but it seems good news is at hand.
On the same day that the company pushed out a software update dishing up a bunch of improvements to the HTC One X, it revealed in a series of comments on Facebook that it fully intended to have all its updates out in the wild before the end of the month. Looks like being a late summer for HTC users.
