HTC has announced a press event here in the UK on April 12, where it promises to show us “what's next” – whatever that's supposed to mean.
The invite itself doesn't give too much away, and so many new HTC faces have been popping up recently that it's anyone's guess what we'll be treated to by our Taiwanese friends.
Past teaser invites from the likes of Apple, Samsung and LG have at least dropped a few hints as to what's coming, but no such luck with HTC. The image used in the invite is a very fetching, but completely abstract, liquid metal splash, and there's hardly much you can take from “Join us to see what's next”.
So what are the possibilities? Well, top of most people's list is the dual-core HTC Pyramid we saw just yesterday. But then there's also the HTC Evo 3D, which was unveiled in the US last week, plus there's the new HTC Flyer tablets supposedly in the works too.
Of course, there's an off chance we'll be treated to all of them, but that's probably just wishful thinking. We'll know more in 11 days.
