“Prolific” is a word we often use to describe HTC. Already this year we’ve seen S variants of the HTC Desire, Incredible and Wildfire, as well as the dual-core Sensation, and the HTC Evo 3D is expected soonish. Er, and not forgetting the Salsa and ChaCha. Ahem.
CENS reports that HTC is anticipating “record sales” in Q3, thanks in part to the 6-8 new smartphones it has in the works.
The Taiwanese manufacturer punted 12.11 million phones in Q2, exceeding its 11-11.5 million projection, and expects that figure to rise to 13.5 million in the third quarter.
Undeterred by Nokia’s arrival on the Windows Phone 7 scene, HTC will release the Prime and Ignite (in the Netherlands, at least), and there are rumours of a 1.5GHz Omega and Eternity, along with the 16MP Bresson.
On the Android side of things, there’s the 4.5in Holiday and the Puccini tablet.
Phew. That’s a lot of HTC.
