HTC has a reputation for being a highly prolific manufacturer, with no less than nineteen devices currently listed under its online Products section.
Earlier today, we heard HTC reiterate that it wasn’t deterred by the highly publicised Nokisoft romance, and there are several fresh WP-related rumours kicking around to back that up.
First up, we’ve got WMPoweruser bringing us news of the HTC Omega and Eternity. The latter is reported to boast a monstrous 4.7in AMOLED display, with an 8MP camera.
The HTC Omega is said to feature a significantly more modest 3.8in screen, again with an 8MP camera. Both are expected to rock Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) with 1.5GHz processors.
WMPoweruser is keen to point out that the HTC Omega and Eternity are merely rumoured at this stage, courtesy of an “anonymous tipster”.
Over to Pocketnow, and there’s more news on the rumoured 16MP HTC Windows Phone beast. It’ll seemingly be called the HTC Bresson, and is expected “beyond” September 2011, which suggests it’ll also rock Mango. Maybe.
Meanwhile, with regards to tablets, HTC Europe’s head honcho Florian Seiche tells Reuters: “I really believe that the tablet market is really going to be a big market in the future and this is just the start.”
Discussing the Flyer, Seiche explains: "It's early days but we feel very good about it." So not concerned that the 32GB Wi-Fi only iPad, Xoom and PlayBook cost the same as the 16GB Wi-Fi only Flyer?
Wow, that was a lot to take in. So we’ve got new Windows Phone 7(.5) handsets in the large-screened HTC Omega, modest-sounding Eternity and high-MP Bresson, and more tablets to come. Phew.
