HTC Desire HD and ICS - on again, off again...divorce? A mobile TomKat!

Seems it is final...ahem...again: No ICS update for the ever popular HTC Desire HD.
First Telus said, "no can do because HTC cancelled the update"; then HTC said, pah - not true.
But Now...now it is final

Absolute bullsh*t. The Desire C runs ICS, why can't the Desire HD?

Yes, pretty farcical. And the to-and-fro of the last 2 weeks has been ridiculous!
Like HTC is managed by Ballymoney Borough Council....

Nexus all the way.

Nexus all the way.
Apart from the Nexus S...which has had issues with both ICS and JB...or the Nexus One, which only got one official upgrade from Froyo to GB.

When you put it like that, Nexus phones suddenly seem like an expensive gamble.

Well, politics and the politicians in the UK are all bloody useless. Why should I believe in their version of "correctness"? I hope Android does get a better email client, the GMail one is okay, the other one is awful.

Wrong place, methinks?

Yeah I think you may be right. Nexus S problems on JB only in Australia aren't they?
